See this link for the TED conference presentation by Joshua Prince Ramus on TPC’s Wyly Theatre. Joshua, joint architect with Rem Koolhaas, on this Dallas project is usually scrupulous about sharing credit with Theatre Projects, who were responsible for the concept, theatre design and execution of the theatre elements of this unique space. Rem and Joshua did indeed add the concept of a transparent and totally removable theatre to TP’s flexible courtyard design, making this a landmark project.

The Dallas Theatre Center are enjoying a highly successful first season in their new home.

I was honored to attend the first TED conference by the founder Richard Wurman in 1984. Sessions are all now available on the web, which make a a fascinating repository of some of the most advance thinking in the world today.
